Teacher Spotlight

Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Paige Wilson

Meet Mrs. Paige Wilson, our incredible Music and Performing Arts teacher at Milan Middle School!

Education: Bachelor's & Master's from Freed-Hardeman University

Years in Education: 10 years (since 2015)

Grades Taught: 5th - 8th

What she loves most about being an educator:

"The relationships that I build with my students and watching them become more confident in themselves. I love watching them thrive in something they didn't even know they were good at."

Fun Fact! Did you know that Mrs. Wilson has been playing the guitar for 33 years and even had her own band from ages 7 to 10?

What she’s looking forward to this school year:

"Growing my choir program into something students can be proud to be a part of. Finding the students at school who need me to help them find their talents and help them grow."

Words of Wisdom for Students:

"It is okay to try new things. The best way to grow as a person is to push yourself and do something out of your comfort zone. A small circle is okay if it is filled with people who want what is best for you."

Let’s give a big round of applause for Mrs. Wilson and her dedication to inspiring our students through music and the arts!
